OTHER: Please write me two lines for each comment at the end of the assignment commenting on these comments from professor. Just simple comment because you are the one who wrote the document so you would know how to answer it shortly, please. Thank you.
1. In some ways the 2011 Japanese Earthquake showed that even with the best laid plans, things still go awry. Japan had a more stable government and emergency management plans as compared to Haiti. However, this was an unexpectedly large earthquake at a 9.0 that then caused a large tsunami to hit the island that then caused a nuclear power plant meltdown. Even though the earthquake and tsunami did plenty of damage, the nuclear power plant ended up being the bigger issue that took much longer to remediate. While the response as far as search and rescue and medical services was well carried out, the response to the nuclear emergency was not. It was initially downplayed when common sense my tell one to go a bit more overboard when dealing with nuclear materials.
2. It was interesting to see some similarities between two vastly different countries, Japan and Haiti, during the course of this week’s reading. While Haiti was poor and largely unprepared, Japan is wealthy and thought it was prepared based on lessons learned from previous disasters. Japan is one of the world’s most disaster-aware countries, with significant resources and a wealth of mitigation activities aimed at diminishing the damage from its most probable hazards. Even so, it demonstrated that even wealthy, technologically advanced and well-organized societies can be overwhelmed by events we call “catastrophes.” (Bissell 2013).

Reading Guide: We conclude the semester by considering our relationship with technology. Many of us feel like we spend too much time with technology. We wonder if we’re addicted to our phones and if there’s anything we can do to stop scrolling. Good news! We have more agency that we think. The Lenhart & Owens report tackles myths about tech addiction head on. The “Digital Environment” chapter discusses tech use in a context you many never have considered–outer space. The Coren & Whetmore article explains how the Amish — a people well known for their hesitance to adopt new technologies — collectively make decisions about tech use in their communities.
Memo Prompt: Select one of the myths from the Lenhart & Owens report. In what ways does the myth embody the tool-based approach to technology, and how would adopting a system-based approach to technology address some of the issues with this myth? (Think back to the Week 2 readings and class discussions). What lessons could we apply from the discussions of tech use in outer space (from the Digital Environment chapter) or tech use among the Amish (from the Coren & Wetmore article) to address this myth?
Memo Task: Write a one-page, single-spaced memo (approximately 500 words) that addresses the above prompt. Use this Memo Template Download Memo Template. Remember, the point of the memo is not to summarize the readings. It is to reflect on key ideas from the readings and integrate them with other concepts we’ve discussed throughout the class. Feel free to bring your own knowledge, experience, and perspective into the memos. Just make sure to connect your ideas to specific concepts and ideas from the readings.

as you can see updated along with the original 3 books/articles for the memo, I added a few more sources and rename it to add (the reading for the ‘think back to week 2 readings and class discussion’ part) that are for the parts that asked about the ‘think back to week 2 readings and class discussion’, ‘from the digital environment chapter’, and ‘from the Coren and Wetmore article’. please do not forget to consider all of them
greetings, can you pleaseee add 150 words more to the word limit? I tried looking for an option between 550 and 275 words but there is not anything close or between.
NOTE FROM THE SUPPORT TEAM:
The bid here is increased to compensate for an extra half a page requested to be added by the customer.
They’re asking that we write about 400-425 words for this order.

As the title suggests, the book attempts to reframe the critical conversation surrounding Tricksters as characters, narrative devices, and/or story tropes in indigenous literature. Some essays are informative, others are argumentative, and others serve as examples of indigenous stories, but all address fundamental problems with the way storytelling and indigenous studies are perceived within academia.
Your job is to find a niche within the conversation, formulate a thesis, and explore the subject with more depth and specificity, using essays from the book as well as independent research to inform your analysis. The book offers several directions for critical analysis, such as:
The nature of storytelling as entertainment, art, history, and philosophy. Exploring indigenous storytelling helps us better understand cultural epistemology and recognize shortcomings in the ways indigenous studies have been perceived.
Trickster narratives: their flexibility, their purpose, and their value as vessels for complex concepts and the expression of indigenous voices.
The history of indigenous studies in the academy and the ways indigenous voices have been marginalized through a lack of understanding and respect for non-western literary traditions.
Concepts common in trickster narratives such as transformation, humor, moral and ethical lessons, interconnectedness, and how these narratives express these concepts in innovative ways.
Indigenous histories and how storytelling serves to record and critically analyze these histories in ways traditional academic treatments fall short.
These are just a few general topics. You will need to find a specific aspect of the collection that appeals to you and formulate an arguable thesis that is focused enough to adequately address in a short paper. Your essay should incorporate 4+ sources, at least two of which should come from, Troubling Tricksters. Your final draft (minimum 1500 words, formatted and cited using current MLA guidelines) must be submitted through canvas by 11:59 pm Thursday 12/8.

Context
Imagine you are a product marketing designer at the company or non-profit of your choice. You have been given a modest budget to design an advertisement for a product, service, program, or other initiative. (Examples: a video game, a fire safety campaign, a gourmet cooking seminar.) Before you can get the green light to work on your design, your project marketing team needs to produce a marketing plan and present it to your superiors,
Overview
Produce a marketing plan you would feel comfortable presenting to your superiors. This plan should cover the following bases:
Context & Significance
Explanation of the product, service, program, etc.
Argument for the product’s usefulness, timeliness, or importance. Outline the social, cultural, historical, and economic factors that make current conditions amenable for the product’s reception.
Explanation of the target audiences.
Advertising Design
Explain the substance of your advertisement. If a static image, describe it in detail, down to the color choices. If a video, give a brief overview of its content and structure and provide a script or screenplay mock-up.
Explain the advertisement’s design: Why this style? Why these colors? (etc.)
Explain how the advertisement connects to the different target audiences. For example, how will you appeal to different generations in the same advertisement? How will you connect to each target population, without alienating the others?
List the kinds of appeals your ad will make: which emotions are you trying to trigger?
Beyond “buy this product” or “support this campaign,” what argument does your ad make?
