Once you have read the case and have given it some thought, you are to answer the questions which follow.

Most weeks, you will have a topic to analyze. The topic will be linked to Northouse, Introduction to Leadership, specifically the chapter assigned to read for this week. Once you have read the case and have given it some thought, you are to answer the questions which follow.
There are two main ideas that encompass this topic. First, relationships matter. This topic illustrates the importance of building positive relationships with others above all else, and that high-quality relationships can lead to positive outcomes more so than low-quality relationships.
Additionally, this topic highlights the concept of adaptive leadership.
After reading Chapter 1 in Northouse, respond to the following topics:
1. Compare and contrast the concepts of leadership is a relationship and leadership is an influence process.
2. Differentiate between leadership and management and provide example for when each are necessary.

Learning outcomes:
